Excellent stuff Narc thumbsup Nice play on fx and the hoover riffs work really well. Maybe a little variation on the hats would work even better. Love this style of music....very reminiscent of some older od404 stuff.

Thanx Winger, yeh agreeing the hats etc are still a little basic, will take a closer look when i start to detail the kicks/perc etc evil

Am liking this mate, as has been mentioned before it's got that old OD404 style groove to it, perhaps needs a little bit of filling out, but i'm guessing that'll get sorted when you put a bit more detail in the percussion. Certainly wouldn't mind a full copy of this to play.....don't suppose theres any chance of a full version when u finish it?

Dude that is WELL fat!!!!  Refreshing to hear some non cheesy hardhouse on BT.  This is wicked.  Sounds like something they'd put on Short Circuit.  You resisted the urge to make the hardhouse groove a load of shite which most people do!  This is the sort of thing I play to technoheads when they slag me off for liking hard house.  Good effort!

Wouldnt be referring to SJ there would ya??  Yeah, its hard to get through to those techno purists...  They just cant see past the off-beat stabs and geigh samples used a small section of HH tunes these days.

There is too much wanky hard house to bother looking for stuff like this.  the problem with HH for me is that this track is about the standard required and you cant do much different when you hit this standard without breaking out of the genre so hard house purist all sound alike all the way through which is always dull regardless of how good the individual tracks are.  Purism sucks.

As far as the talk on purism goes, im not really into following the latest trends , i just like hard music, whether it be metal, hiphop, gabba whatever, producing my own tunes gives me the opportunity to mash all these influences into the one filthy meltingpot evil

I'm liking this so far, the bass has enough power, and the stabs sound really good. The break is quite original, theres no fluidity at all, yet it still sounds right. The vocal is quite good, but its quite hard to tell what it says. I dislike the way it kicks back in after though, it is too unexpected, and just sounds the same as before the break, it really does seem to be lacking something to drive it along. There's no real hook to the track, and to be honest, again except for the break, its quite generic and nothing special.

The production on it is very good though I give you that, and I think if you put a few more ideas into your track to make it more memorable, it would be alot better.

Agreed on the voice now you mention it, was a cheap pick up from a .wav site, need to find a cleaner one, it says 'Pain has a face, allow me to show it to you..'
Thanks for the production comment, its the raw mixdown out of reason without any boosting, eqing or compression, so it should clean up ssome more still evil

its a hellraiser sample. not sure which one though, if anyone knows i have the first 5 films on dvd so can rip a fresh sample for you. PM me.
