Hi guys,

I'm using TrueVerb on my drum buss with the short plate preset but i find that even on the shortest decay it is too much. I'm using it as an insert as suggested by Waves. Any suggestions on what I can do?

Cheers,
Matt

If your using it as an insert you should have the 'mix' at like 20% ish, you should really be using a send for reverb though. This might be why your having a problem.

G'day Flymo,

I've rolling it off at about 5k. It helped a lot, but it seems to loose a lot of the detail.

What sort of reverb units are you using these days?

Cheers,
Matt

i like using the sonitus reverb or the standard fruity plug in tbh, but i try to reverb the lower frequencies more then the higher ones as high frequencies need more clarity then the bottom end imo thumbsup

Ok, I don't use FL but a few people have mentioned the reverb plugin now.

I will have a fiddle with the eq options on TrueVerb and see how it goes.

Thanks for your help.
