eyesup Bollocks. Since when did NZ ever make a number 1. looking  I live here and i can honestly say most of the local made music is shite, you only have to watch something as dumb as NZ idol to feel the shame of the lack of really good vocal talant here in comparison to other countries. Simply, the population is'nt big enough or the music scene competative enough to produce anything remarkable so its less than very mediocre.

So you can fuck off because you know fuck all and obviously ar'nt from here. biggrin

It's Tinrib. I think he's probably a bit miffed that the Fish Tales mixes are in the DJ Mixes forum. idea

yep i think it is to ,the skipper that is and it is refering to some 1 who has posted mixes for d/load when the skip is still got them for sale on tinrib digi.

I dont see anything illegal here.....
You should question Captain Tinrib about it !!! . After all you could download near enough the entire CD mixes album collection from his own page at one time for FREE and also including a selection of 12s on MP3 to download for FREE ....

Just miffed these guys here will ban and probably delete this thread too with no reasoning or decency to even email or PM you if they are upset by something written about the 'other' formats and such.

Its about the music at the end of the day - not the format.

This will probably go b4 the digital downloads thread. Keep them there mate!!!

We're doing a Picture disc release on November 15th this year 1000 only copies. Admiral Tinrib after promotion at the cathedral by the Bishop. Does this mean this thread can stay?!!!

They don't own the copyright or have the right to give it away for free.


Sure Kristian and Bangingtunes don't leave their doors open and put a free records sign up on the door do they!!!! Ha!

So Its ok for you to give them away for Free to the masses who had taken in legally (well you say it was legal to download)  from your web but totally Illegal for other people to swap or give away after that.

digital downloads.... cant be much profit in record sales nowadays so i suppose everyone is highly strung on ANY profit gained or if their digital downloads are threatened in anyway..

Only two sure ways of royalties these days... live and top commercial radio play.

You really do only want to make dance for fun these days as their aint no big money pot...unless you do commercial pop rolleyes

But you dont get money from giving away music away for FREE even if you do own the copyright. You did know that. So why get the hump when somebody else is doing you a favour in spreading Captain Tinribs name and sharing the music you so kindly gave away for free in the first place.
