Listened to 'WIP', WTF? Absolutely blew me away. Wow m8, not just good on a comparison level, but good on why isn't this on a major label pressed good.

What have you used for the little electric noise riff that takes space between the big trance stabs leading upto breakdown? Made it for me.

I've kinda sidelined WIP got about 20 different versions!). listened to it today and realised I i need to sort the EQ + FX out.

I assume you mean the fill, not the hoovery type noise.  I made it using Reason: a subtractor with a flange and filter on it.

Like the bass! Good tune got an older feel to it like something that was out a few years ago! maybe a few more sweeps/fx goin on over the riffs making it a bit more interesting! Really good sound for the trance!

yeah, see what you mean about the older sound of the track.  I've tried to get the production right - rather than the music - gives it a familar, almost obvious feel to it.  glad you like the bass; probably the best I've made so far.

like this tune (first one that plays) . Remuinds me of some old skool trance, Id add some more percussions and drum olls etc just to break it up more. Like the breakdown, thats genius. Think of doing a little more with it, like a add a pad or a synth that really screams (if you know what i mean) Also I think you should stick a different breakbeat in that breakdown with more energy, and stick some reverb on it.

I tihnk trancers have got short attention spans, so just break the tune up, add some more instruments etc....
