Nothing was just asking really. As sometimes the attitude you portray on here makes you sound like u have a fair few under your belt.

It can be a stupid program laughing But Cubase annoys me even more lol.

There is zero correlation between technical knowledge and number of releases.

As to the original comment, what is your reference point?  If you bounce something down to a .wav or .mp3 you won't be playing it back in fruity.  Winamp sounds different to Media Player which in turn sounds different to iTunes.

Something to bear in mind.

do you render it as the highest possible quality, there are options you can change when rendering. dont just hit the button straight away, change it to 32 bit, 512 point sync.

FL does have a different sound when you export something - I thought it was just me who thought that!

Its not FL per say doing this...but rather the device drivers you are using for your sound output.

I suspect you are using ASIO drivers or ASIO for all...which i have found to be quite a big louder and punchier than direct sound, which is the drivers that all media players use. try switching your audio drivers back to direct sound before you export, and see if it sounds similar to the output...i think you will find it sounds the same...i wouldnt go as far as to say that you should compensate for it...but rather, export your track...and re-import it back into a blank track in FL using the ASIO drivers again...and see if the sound is similar to what you just listened to....

the wave data is the same regardless, just the device driver handles it differently, after all...directsound goes through microsofts safety protocols which in all probability is lower in volume when compared to a hardware interface like asio.

hpoe that helps.
