When I first started I used to do them sitting down, then got a table that was too low for a while.  You do at least need the speakers higher up around chest level at least.  I bought one of the decks stands and got everything on there and then put my speakers on top of record boxes that sit in front of the stand.  thumbsup

i'm quite tall and all the deck stands i tried were too short so i got som MDF, some corner brackets and screws and built my own. Piece of piss

just 'cause they are small dont mean much. My mates got some speakers that look just like that , with yellwo cones, there are B&W speakers and are amazing.


 

Speakers THAT small aren't going to be that loud, I have had 100's of different types of speakers, Studio and DJ set up, For a studio they are ok, But for mixing you need something slightly bigger in my opinion, Nothing worse then hearing your turntables, Or mixer clicking whilst mixing. laughing
