Should i switch, logic ---> cubase

Ive been using logic mainly now for 3 years and reason on and off but do prefer logic, the thing is i remember hearing the logic is better run on a mac and sisnce after 5.5 its only made for mac im wondering weather or not to switch to cubase, which i was told does run better than logic in a pc, logic does have a tendency to crash from time to time but  its a copy so i assume thats why, so the million doller question is do i switch to cubase?, i just finished a tune recently and after reading some feedback and a few other pages concernig mastering and a relisten lastnight, it needs a bit of tweaking which id do in logic the say goodbyeee to my old fried mr Emagic

I find if i have a musical rutt, "not being productive", i switch sequencer platform and by learning a new software gets the creative jucies flowing again!!!

 

If you on the Emagic version, i consider ditching that and buy Logic 8.

 

 

we went through the same problem - been using logic 5.5 for years on the PC, then apple bought emagic out and had to make the desicion... either switch to cubase and keep our PC / millions of plugins etc or spend $$$$ on mac G5, logic 7 etc etc with no plugins...

We bought a mac and logic 7, best decision ever made

 

well since im out of work at the moment i guess its worth downloading a copy of cubase and seeing how i get on untill i have some money to invest in legit softwear, cheers ppl
