I looked at several 1TB USB drives, most of them had bad reputations for reliability. Ended up getting a 750GB Seagate instead. I'd rather have a little less capacity for something which is reliable.

If you want something cheap that will do the trick I have an ESI U467DJ card I will part with for £50. (I'm leaving the UK so selling my gear) I've used it for all my productions, works great with Logic.

Takes me no time at all to write a tune, but then forever to finish them, if I ever do. I hate the final stage of production. I'm capable enough but get bored and move on to the next idea.
