A lot of the time SNES games had lots of layering, mode 7 and other fancies that really tested its CPU, I'd wager the games were often more complex than md for these reasons. Mind you, we're you using a uk pal SNES running at 50hz? Mine was NTSC and ....

I'm amazed that anyone could think sega were better than Nintendo tbh. Sure, megadrive is a classic console and was awesome, but the SNES was way better and had such a superior library of games. And you cannot compare the master system to a nes ....

I had a mega drive first. Sold it and bought a US NTSC Snes (the best version IMO) which I adored. So wish I still had it, fuck sake. Swapped it for a PC Engine core grafx, wish I still had that too. Sold it a few years back. And btw - gameboy shat ....
