sounding good, you will have to get a mix done sometime this way.  I'm just using a Denon DN-MC6000 nowadays with Traktor Pro 2.  Toying with the idea of an APC-40 so I can get back on Live, but its all £££

Traktor Pro, I already had it previously. It works great with the Denon. Not had much of a play yet as I have been away from home since I bought it, but from the short time I played on it, it seems great.

Had one but had to return within 2 days because the headphone socket was faulty.  When it arrived the top of the left jog wheel was also loose but clipped back on ok.  In the end I swapped it for a Denon DN-MC6000 which feels like a tank ....

Yeah the S4 can do much finer pitch.  Much better than standard midi.Same with the Denon unit I mentioned above.  Think the Denon has slightly better pitch faders.  In the shop I had a quick go and was able to change the bpm with in ....

just returned one of there Kontrol S4'sPretty good piece of kit but build quality not so great.  Left jog wheel was loose when I got it, it clicked back on ok but after two days use the headphone socket was knackered.  Also the jog wheels ....

still not bad, I spend a fair amount on tech house and HH on beatport/tid, I don't mind paying whatever for a good tune.Its not really useful for that sort of stuff anyway, more commercial albums, why pay £15 on iTunes when its £7 quid somewhere ....
