I owned Serato v2 and switched to Traktor Pro, then Scratch Pro 2. Much prefer Traktor in nearly every way to be honest (I dont scratch mind you) I am sure they have improved it now but I always found I didnt like the sound quality of Serato much, ....

I would suggest looking at a second hand pair of Dynaudio BM5a MK2's. (make sure they are mk2 as they improved the bottom end over the mk1)Ive got a small room and have just downsized from 8" Tannoy Precision 8D's to the BM5a mk2's and to be ....
