Audio Player
By default the site will stream audio samples using the BangingTunes Audio Player. The player requires that your browser has javascript enabled and Flash Player version 8 or higher. The player can be disabled using the player link beneath the logo. When the player is disabled samples will be downloaded by your browser and handled with your usual audio player.
Can't Hear Any Sound?
If you don't hear sound when you try to play a clip, you may need to adjust your system's sound configuration or update your sound card drivers.
To check the volume levels in Windows:
- Double-click the speaker icon }to the clock in the lower right corner of your monitor.
- Make sure that Mute is not selected for either the Volume Control (Play Control) or Wave (Wave/Direct Sound) sliders.
If the driver software that sends information to your sound card is out of date or has problems, RealPlayer may not be able to play sound. Contact your sound card's manufacturer for information on installing the latest drivers.
Sound Quality Problems?
To keep download times fast we encode the samples in mono at a less than CD quality sample rate.
