Why is there no markup for e-mail addresses

We have decided not to encourage the posting of e-mail addresses on the forum due to the widespread use of e-mail harvesters. E-mail harvesters are automated computer programs that scan internet web pages looking for e-mail addresses that they can then collect and send spam too. Please use the personal message facility to make e-mail addresses known to other users.
